As many of you must be aware, some months ago Mattew Garrett released a linux kernel patch (https://lkml.org/lkml/2011/11/10/467) that mostly address a power management regression affecting kernels starting from 2.6.38. Such patch is planned to be included in future linux kernel version 3.3.
Current Ubuntu Precise development version has backported this patch to its 3.2 linux kernel already. Is Debian going to do the same thing for Wheezy? or is it going to be released with a newer kernel version (>= 3.3)?

Looks like this was included in 3.2.4-1 that was uploaded a few days ago. http://packages.qa.debian.org/l/linux-2.6/news/20120205T184929Z.html (search for ASPM on that page)
