Hello,
after a reinstall of Gnome, (apt-get remove gnome gnome-panel && apt-get autoremove) i cant resolve any Hostnames. Pinging IPs is working properly.
What for a problem can that be? (the nsswitch.conf is correct)

What about your /etc/resolv.conf? Is your local nameserver in there?
