I found them useful enough to try to install on my debian machine. They are not present in repos, and i didn’t manage to find unofficial repo. Did anybody install them?

I cannot find a package with that name in ubuntu repos. Can you give more info?
@enzotib it is called indicator-applet and there are several panel-applets in ubuntu’s repo (e.g. messaging menu). http://itmages.ru/image/view/63976/4ad6fb35
