How to clear all cups queues on shutdown?

Asked by [ Editor ]

Occasionally I print a larger job and then shut down my system. The print job will complete successfully, but my system will not notice that being powered off. When I then boot the machine again, it will send the job again believing it has not completed. This of course is a waste of paper. How can I stop this by e.g. by clearing all (remote) queues when the system is shut down?
