I just installed debian on my computer but it now has no internet access my question is how and what do i configure to get it to work. i switched from ubuntu to debian because i am tired of the updates breaking a working peace of software. and thought going to the source would help, but now i cannot acess the Internet from debian. inet was working in ubuntu. I went to an install fest offered by the local computer society. they helped me install it but were no nelp getting connected.

OK, if you are trying Network Manager and you have problems, follow this.
Because Ubuntu users who switch to Debian usually have this problem… However if that’s not the case, we need more info regarding your hardware, in order to help.
Hope this helps.
