libavformat-extra-52 in Debian repositories

Hi I'm having trouble playing all video formats in Linux Mint Debian Edition 64 bits.
So far I have found a problem showing teletext in a DVD-T broadcast.

When using Linux Mint based on Ubuntu I'm used to installing libavformat-extra-52 and libavformat-unstripped-52 in order for vlc to be able to play everything.

But these libraries are not in the Debian Testing repository.
Are they available in another repository?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance - Morten

The packages you are referring to correspond to the ffmpeg-extra source package according to packages.ubuntu.com. This package seems to originate from the debimedia project. It includes a ffmpeg build that enables patent encumbered algorithms. So you will not find any packages that provide this functionality in the Debian’s repositories (they’d all violate the patents). As a first guess http://debian-multimedia.informatik.uni-erlangen.de/debimedia/ seems to be a mirror for debimedia.
